URBAN GLOBAL HEALTH ALLIANCE is suing the State of NJ to preserve the right to go back to school as we did in 2019

In July 2020, Governor Murphy declared one of the most stringent school re-open plans in the country.  Without any due diligence or fact-checking, school districts across the state quickly adopted these guidelines into their re-open plans.

Fired by a deep concern for the health of our children, educators, and community at large, Urban Global Health Alliance connected with world-renowned experts, researchers, healthcare practitioners, local educators, and parents.

Our Experts

  • Dr. Knut Wittkowski: Epidemiologist, Former Head of Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Design, Center for Clinical & Translational Science at The Rockefeller University in New York, Senior Research Associate

  • Dr. Mark McDonald: Adult, Child, and Adolescent Psychiatry

  • Dr. Andrea Nazarenko: Research Psychologist, MA MA MAS PhD.

  • Dr. Charles Penick: MD, Emergency Medicine Specialist

  • Tammy K. Clark: Federally trained OSHA certified PPE expert, court approved legal expert witness.

All the data, studies and expert testimony we have complied make a compelling case that Governor Murphy did NOT do his due diligence when setting the school re-open guidelines, as it is clear to us that most recommended practices are not only unscientific and unnecessary, but they could cause short term and long term harm to our children and communities - physically, mentally, and psychologically.

We have decided to legally challenge the state of New Jersey to show us their proof, science and data.  We are demanding that NJ schools open as they did in 2019!

We held a press conference on 8/11 with our experts, educators and parents which went viral the same day.

If you want NJ schools to re-open as "normal", join us and please consider donating to our legal fund at the DONATE button below.   If schools are not reopened, the educational development of young children will suffer greatly.

The science supports schools opening.
